LiveCareer - Violated my privacy and my copyright!
I just discovered my resume sitting out on LiveCareer's website, word for word, with a few random, generic phrases thrown in as a poor disguise. I am shocked and appalled!
So, what it appears to me is that this company steals original work from others for their databank and then cranks it back out to others who go to the site to build their resume. I don't remember when I visited this website, but it's been a while, and I think this may be one an employee at the Job Center referred me to, although I'm not certain. I am a writer, and I'm not giving anyone permission to copy my resume, and I certainly do not appreciate the invasion of privacy!
My resume is for my eyes only, and for potential employers in a polished form, not some chopped up form with random nonsensical phrases thrown in in a poor attempt to disguise my identity. Anyone who knows me could easily pick this out as my resume!
Reason of review: Invasion of privacy, theft of intellectual property.
Preferred solution: I want my resume removed immediately!.

Did the exact same to me. Had to email them for several weeks before they took it down.
I had an account at "Myperfectresume.com," which was a paid account. They blatantly stole my resume and even had my Attorney Bar Number listed!
